Sleep Nod is an arts project and person with an history in live arts, video, music, writing and visual art. Seattle 2010–2018, NYC 2018–2023, now San Francisco. → [[Works]] ## About Dylan R.F. Ward works under the artist name SLEEP NOD. Seattle dance and film (2010–2018), NYC video direction and production (2018–2023), SF-based writing (2023–present). Graduated University of Washington with a degree in Comparative History of Ideas in 2013, worked at Velocity Dance Center, On the Boards and other venues in Seattle, 2013–2018, before a career shift moved them to NYC and San Francisco. Currently studying clinical mental health and designing connections in arts making. Collaborated with choreographers Petra Zanki, Dayna Hanson, and directed video for Lars Jan's *The Institute of Memory*, amidst other collaborations. Sleep Nod believes in performances capacity to allow for healing and rest, in its design, rehearsal, and exhibition.
